Chong oversees all dimensions of customer marketing, including content marketing, digital marketing, events and tradeshows. She has a proven record of developing effective and integrated strategies to engage with customers from online to offline and drive demand generation with solid results for leads to revenue.
Chong joined Honeywell in 2011 and held increasing responsibilities over the years, starting from digital and media relations to corporate communications and executive communications.
Wu Chong currently leads the Asia Pacific customer marketing team for Performance Materials and Technologies (PMT), the second largest business group of Honeywell, a Fortune 500 high-tech company. PMT is a global leader in developing advanced materials, process technologies and automation solutions, a big player in many industries such as oil and gas, refrigerant, chemical, and materials.
Prior to Honeywell, Chong was based in New York City and worked for China Daily U.S. edition as its new media manager for more than two years. She led the creation of China Daily U.S. website and a mini-site with the Washington Post, brought the newspaper to Kindle and various social media channels such as Facebook and Twitter, as well as implemented other projects to digitize the newspaper.
Before that, she was a journalist and editor for China Daily China edition and the U.S. edition for more than five years.
Chong hosts a Bachelor’s Degree of Arts at Beijing Foreign Studies University and a Master’s Degree of Science at Ohio University, the United States.
